MSS2 is a new token. Two things are worth understanding before you mint, stake or buy.

## Staking is permanent

Staked MSS2 can never be withdrawn, by you or anyone else. This includes tokens you compound, gifts you receive, referral stake credits, Mint & stake and Buy & stake. The way to get value from a stake is to collect its rewards over time.

## Rewards are tokens, not returns

Staking pays 0.75% a day to collect or 1.5% a day to compound, in MSS2. These are token amounts. They are not a yield in ETH, USDC or dollars, and they don't promise that anything you receive will be worth what you paid.

- **Inflation.** Rewards and referral credits add MSS2 to circulation. More supply can push the price down.
- **Selling.** Collected rewards can be sold, and when many holders sell, the price falls.
- **Token count and value are different.** A larger stake is not the same as a larger position in value.

The pool price is set by trading and can be lower than the mint price.

## Good to know

- How the contracts work, and what their owner can change, is set out in [Contracts and controls](/docs/contracts).
- MSS2 never asks for your seed phrase.
- MSS2 is not affiliated with Robinhood, Arc, Circle, Topaz or LayerZero.
