Using MSS2

Bridging

Move wallet-held MSS2 between Robinhood and Arc with LayerZero. Stakes, rewards, mint claims and referrals stay on their chain.

The bridge moves MSS2 from your wallet on one chain to a wallet on the other. It uses LayerZero: tokens are burned on the source chain and the same amount is minted on the destination.

Bridged MSS2 behaves like any other MSS2 on the destination. You can hold it, sell it, stake it there or gift it. Staking bridged tokens adds to your stake on that chain; it does not join your stake on the other chain.

How to bridge

  1. Open Bridge. The source is the selected chain; the destination is the other one.
  2. Enter the amount of MSS2 to send.
  3. Review the amount received, the fee and any rounding left in your wallet.
  4. Confirm. Pay the fee in the source chain's native currency.
  5. Follow the transfer card until it shows Received.

Delivery usually takes a few minutes. Do not send again while a transfer is in progress.

Fees

The fee is a LayerZero messaging fee, quoted live and paid in ETH on Robinhood or USDC on Arc. MSS2 takes no cut: the amount minted on the destination equals the amount burned, after rounding. If the fee changes before you confirm, the app asks you to review the new fee.

Rounding

LayerZero bridges amounts with 6 decimal places. Anything beyond the sixth decimal stays in your wallet.

For example, sending 1,234.5678901234 MSS2 delivers 1,234.567890 MSS2. The remaining 0.0000001234 MSS2 is shown as rounding left in your wallet.

Recipient

By default, tokens go to the same address on the destination chain. To send elsewhere, turn on Send to a different address, marked Advanced, and enter the receiving wallet.

Tracking a transfer

Each transfer card shows two steps: confirmed on the source chain, then received on the destination. The app saves the transfer in this browser, keeps checking after reloads and brief network errors, and links to LayerZero Scan. If delivery has not arrived after an hour, the card offers a support link with the transfer reference.

A confirmed source transaction means your tokens are in transit, not yet delivered. Until they arrive, they appear on neither chain's wallet balance.

Details

  • Availability. The bridge works only after both chains have launched and the connection between them is configured.
  • Plain transfers only. A bridge transfer delivers tokens to a wallet. It cannot stake them or call a contract on arrival.
  • Supply. Bridging creates no new MSS2 overall. Each chain counts tokens sent and received separately from minting and burning. See Tokenomics and supply.
  • Security. Bridged tokens depend on LayerZero's message verification and on the bridge settings controlled by the token owner. See Contracts and controls and the LayerZero OFT reference.
