Referrals
Share your link to earn 5%, 2.5% and 1.25% of mint payments in ETH or USDC, plus a 5% stake credit when direct referrals stake.
Your wallet address is your referral code. When people you invite mint, you earn part of their payment in ETH or USDC. When they stake, you also earn a stake credit in MSS2.
Two kinds of referral rewards

Mint referral rewards
Mint rewards reach three levels up from the person who mints.

Example
Your friend mints with 1 ETH on Robinhood using your link. You earn 0.05 ETH. The person who referred you earns 0.025 ETH, and their referrer earns 0.0125 ETH.
On Arc, the same mint for 1,500 USDC pays 75 USDC, 37.50 USDC and 18.75 USDC.
Referral rewards come out of the payment first, and 75% of the rest is immediately added to liquidity. If a level is missing, its share stays in that rest. See Minting.
When you can withdraw
Mint rewards unlock when the mint is claimed, which is possible from the block after it is paid. They then sit in your credit balance until you withdraw. Open Share & earn and select Withdraw to send your whole credit balance to your wallet.
Referral stake credit
When someone you referred directly stakes MSS2, you earn a stake credit equal to 5% of the amount. The credit is newly issued MSS2 added to your stake, so the staker keeps everything they staked.
Example
A direct referral stakes 100,000 MSS2. Your stake grows by 5,000 MSS2, and from then on those tokens earn staking rewards for you like the rest of your stake.

The credit stops at your own 25,000,000 MSS2 stake cap. Protocol contracts never earn it. The owner can adjust the rate between 0% and 10%; the Share & earn page always shows the current rate. The credit is only for direct referrals: levels 2 and 3 do not earn it.
Your referral link
Open Share & earn to copy your link, share it on X or Telegram, or show a QR code. It looks like this:

Links are free and work before launch. A link opens the chain it was made for, but the referral saved in the browser works on either chain.
How a referral becomes permanent
- Someone opens your link. The app saves your address in their browser under the key
refwallet. They can see, change or clear it on the Mint page. - Their first mint, stake or Buy & stake on a chain records your address on-chain as their referrer on that chain.
- From then on, the relationship is permanent on that chain. Clearing the browser cannot undo it, and a different link cannot replace it.
Each chain keeps its own record. A friend who mints on Robinhood with your link and later stakes on Arc with someone else's link has a different referrer on each chain.
Rules the contract enforces
- You cannot refer yourself.
- Referral cycles are rejected. If you referred Alice, Alice cannot become your referrer.
- A referrer is recorded once per wallet per chain and never changes.
- Mint rewards visit at most three levels, and the stake credit only one.
Details
- Direct binding. The token contract also has a
setReferrerfunction that records a referrer on its own. The app records referrers with your first mint, stake or Buy & stake instead, so no extra transaction is needed. - What is shown. Share & earn shows your lifetime mint rewards, your number of direct referrals, your withdrawable balance and the stake credits you have earned on the selected chain.
- Rates. The 5% / 2.5% / 1.25% mint rates and the 75% liquidity share are fixed in the token contract and cannot be changed.
